Silence of the Lambs got it right about transgenderism

I’m surprised Silence of the Lambs has not been pulled from Netflix because it accurately diagnoses transgenderism as is currently presenting in men. It’s covetous idolatry. It’s an obsessive fetishisation of an distorted perception of women in part created by a media and wider society that idolises a narrow definition and image of womanhood. You don’t see balding middle aged fat Labour activists transitioning so they can wear dungarees. It’s all about the costume of womanhood – the hair, makeup and clothes.

And of course the misfit can never have what he covets by way of being physically/socially repellent, so takes the shortcut to instead become what he can’t have. This is why self-identity laws are dangerous to women. It enables the psychopathy and voyeurism of the mentally deranged on the basis of no medically provable diagnosis. The vast majority of male-born “transwomen” still have a penis precisely because it’s more about the immediate outward appearance which is why it comes as no surprise when “transwomen” committed to female prisons turn out to be sexual predators.

This, of course, is not a universal diagnosis, rather it explains a great deal of it, and present sufficient risk to women that we simply cannot allow it a foothold. It basically removes all the public safe spaces for women condemning women to stay at home, essentially setting back women’s rights more than a century. That’s what makes it regressive and sexist.

Other strains of this condition do not share the exact pathology and one suspects there is a strong relationship to obsessive compulsive disorders, Aspergers and trauma, exacerbated by marijuana, other recreational narcotics and alcohol. People the grip of depression (a subject I can speak to with some authority) are usually at their most vulnerable to suggestion. Without healthy habits, routine and external stimulus, there is too much time to dwell on toxic and corrosive thoughts. Not for nothing is there a high incidence of suicide among trans identifying men.

One also suspects there are a great many cultural factors at work, not least the popularisation and normalisation of the disorder, making this a social contagion, which is then legitimised by Hollywood, and subsequently filters into academia and civil society as a political orthodoxy. What should be treated as a mental disorder pertaining to the lack of self-acceptance, is medicalised.

This is partly why the process attracts those with narcissistic personality disorders in that assuming a trans identity turns an unremarkable person into something special and at the centre of medical and cultural attention. It’s why the trans lobby are so hostile to criticism. The overindulged narcissistic youth of our time are simply not used to being confronted. Admitting it is a narcissistic disorder means accepting one’s own mediocrity and mundanity. Something the narcissist can never do.

I am prepared to accept that there are people who can more easily present as female due to physical development disorders, but when taking into account the invasiveness of hormonal and surgical intervention, any reputable medical professional would strongly advise counselling first, and physical treatment only as a last resort and only in those instances where in most respects, apart from genitals they do convincingly present as the opposite of their sex at birth. And even then, only maybe. It should be so rare as to be barely known of. That it has become a cultural epidemic is a sign of a wider societal dysfunction.

In that we can explore the role of men in a society that no longer needs them. They are not required for physical labour, they are not required as fathers or breadwinners and there is no longer any inherent status that comes with being a man. Little wonder then, that so many men would indulge their own fantasies of becoming their fetishised, falsified ideal of a woman.

Then as much as we should be concerned about men, the trans disorder in women should be looked at differently. There is a similar crisis of womanhood in respect of gender expectations and societal pressures to conform. We need to go back to an age where little girls who liked aeroplanes instead of dolls were encouraged to go and fly fighter jets rather than take hormones and surgically mutilate themselves.

That, though, is not the whole of the issue. When this phenomenon presents in females it is very closely linked with trauma which manifests in all manner of unhealthy ways where their “trans” condition is just one of an array of serious personal issues. Not for nothing is this commonly found in the alternative, goth and fetish scene. There’s a whole bunch of clues there.

Before we medicalise this condition we urgently need to look at the societal factors and media influences. That is not to say we need to censor media because that seldom achieves anything, but we do need schools to be aware of the influences in circulation and for parents likewise.Teachers and parents should not be pandering to the confusions of children and instead help them to love and appreciate who and what they are and have the confidence to wear what they like and pursue any career they so wish without giving space to the predatory trans industry who will use them as political pawns in a wider culture war.

That is, after all, what all of this trans agenda is about. It’s about destroying the cultural norms of the west with a view to replacing them with a postmodern theocracy. The trans lobby is not really any different to cells of Islamist terrorists who recruit children as suicide bombers. They turn kids into social hand grenades. This is not just wrong. It is evil.
